- Built a similarity-based recommendation model in scikit-learn (vectorization + similarity scoring) to rank top-5 results
- Exposed predictions via a FastAPI service with Pydantic schemas; containerized with Docker and deployed on Render
- Developed a lightweight HTML/CSS/JS frontend to query the API and display recommendations
What it does: Users enter a movie name and the app returns the top 5 similar movies
